Re: Coaches come. Coaches go. Life goes on. BUT the timing of this

Dresser is not dropping anyone. The timing is unfortunate, but unavoidable. Iowa State has a top 10 wrestling class coming in and it was falling apart. At least three of their recruits had asked for a release. They are required by the NCAA to respond within 30 days so they had to find a coach in short order to try to salvage their class. Anyone would have done the same thing in their shoes. KD is all Hokie and we should be thanking him for the 11 great years he gave us. Iowa State is a premier job and a once in a lifetime opportunity for him. KD was as unhappy about the timing as everyone (probably more), but he is doing what is best for him and his family and I don't blame him one bit. We will be fine and I have full faith in Whit to make his next great coaching hire (he has done pretty well so far).
